Hardware

two RF boards, local

Two open-source RF gateways for Home Assistant: ISNO RF868 (868, Profalux shutters) and ISNO Super (dual-band 433/868). Local, no cloud. The Super is on pre-order, the RF868 follows.

Sep 2026

A board built for radio firmware, so you can stop stacking CC1101 modules on a breadboard. Two sub-GHz radios, 433 and 868 MHz, an ESP32-S3, a Qwiic port and a mikroBUS, all over USB-C, and a catalog of verified firmware.

Aug 2026

One ESP32 and one CC1101 module driving two radio worlds from Home Assistant - Somfy RTS at 433.42 MHz, and KeeLoq 868 MHz shutters cloned from an existing remote, with no gateway and no manufacturer key. The lesson of the project - I chased an encryption key for days before finding out the motor simply accepts a replayed frame.
